Cookie Policy
Last updated: [DATE]
This Cookie Policy explains how Interlude, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (KvK [KVK NUMBER]), uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Cookies can be “strictly necessary” (needed for a function you asked for) or “non-essential” (such as analytics or advertising, which require your consent under EU law).
2. Cookies we use
In the current version of the Service, we use one cookie, and it is strictly necessary:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
il_vt | Recognizes your session when you return to or refresh a review link, so you do not have to re-enter your name each time. It provides continuity, not authentication, and is scoped to the link you entered through. | Strictly necessary / functional | 30 days |
This cookie is set with the httpOnly and sameSite=lax attributes, and is additionally marked secure in production (so it is only sent over HTTPS). It is never readable by client-side JavaScript. Because it is strictly necessary to provide a function you have requested, it does not require prior consent under EU rules — but we disclose it here for transparency.
3. What we do not use (yet)
In the current version we do not use:
- analytics or performance cookies;
- advertising or tracking cookies; or
- third-party social media cookies.
If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and present a consent mechanism allowing you to accept or decline them before they are set.
4. Managing cookies
Because the il_vt cookie is strictly necessary, blocking it may prevent the review experience from working correctly (for example, you may be asked to re-enter your name repeatedly). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; instructions are available in your browser’s help documentation.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
